Pack N Store covers your goods for a minimal amount of $.10 per pound per article (Maximum $200.00 per container), which is included in the standard storage rate. Pack N Store offers actual cash value (depreciated value) personal property protection to cover loss of or damage to your goods during transportation by us to or from our storage facility and loss or damage while in storage.

Additional valuation is not insurance.  It does not cover theft, loss or damage while the container is located at your address. Additional valuation provides for recovery for lost or damaged items based on actual cash value (depreciated value) at the time of loss or damage, up to the total dollar amount of value you declare (declared value).  In no event does it provide for recovery greater than $5,000 per container or $20,000 in the aggregate, and an amount per container calculated by dividing the amount of personal property protection you purchase by the number of containers you store.  If you elect to obtain this coverage, you will be charged for it.

Option A

Minimal storage valuation - $.10 per pound per article.  All items have a value that has been selected by you to be no more that the weight of the item multiplied by $.10 (10 cents). This minimal amount of valuation is included in the standard storage rate. The maximum amount of value per container can not exceed $200.00. (2000 pounds multiplied by $.10)

Option B

Additional valuation $.60 per pound per article.  All items have a value that has been stated by you to be no more than the weight of the item multiplied by $.60 (60 cents).  This amount of value has a monthly expense of $2.00 per container per month plus your monthly storage charges for the container. The maximum amount of value per container can not exceed $1,200.00. (2000 pounds multiplied by $.60)

Option C

Additional valuation - stated value with depreciated coverage and a $250.00 deductible.  All items stored have a value stated by you to be no more than $5,000 per container and a maximum total of $20,000 for the entire amount of items stored. The amount stated by you will be divided evenly between the number of containers rented.  This type of additional valuation has an expense of $2.50 per $1,000 of additional valuation per month.
